Tom Chatfield is a distinguished graduate of Canadore College, having earned an Aircraft Avionics Technician Diploma in 1986 when he received the President’s Award for Academic Achievement. In 2013, he was honoured as one of 21 finalists selected from the past 30 years of graduates in the Technology and Management programmes of Ontario Colleges.
As CEO of Camber Aviation Management, Tom Chatfield is a leader in the aviation industry with over 35 years of experience in aircraft completions and refurbishment management. Tom believes that education is vital to understanding the science behind global problems and making the positive changes our world needs and is a firm believer that knowledge is more accessible if delivered in a fun and interesting way.
Along with Camber, Tom supports an aviation-focused high school STEM program, where students have the opportunity to take part in exciting activities designed to introduce them to the wonders of aeronautics. Through Tom, Camber also sponsors a young Canadian mountain bike racer, providing travel and support with his expenses as he competes for his country in international mountain bike races.
